Fits perfectly over office clothes
I wear formal sarees and salwar suits to office and this long raincoat fits over everything without any issues. Looks elegant too — not like a plastic bag. Very impressed.
Hood stays on in wind
Most hoods blow back when there's any wind. This one has an adjustable drawstring that keeps it in place. My hair stayed dry throughout a windy, rainy commute. Love it.

No awful plastic smell
Cheap raincoats smell horrible when new. This one doesn't have that smell at all. The material feels like a proper jacket. Very comfortable to wear for long periods.
Good length — covers below knees
At 5'4 the coat comes just below my knees which is ideal. Salwar and lehenga bottom stay completely dry. Very practical for Indian monsoon conditions.
